Transparent pricing. No insurance games.
Why we don't accept insurance — and what we do accept.
Stilwell Wellness Solutions is cash-pay for clinical services. We accept HSA, FSA, credit, debit, and cash, and we share every fee with you before you commit to a visit or a protocol. The reason is simple: when insurance isn't in the room, your time with Karen Parmely, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC stays unhurried and the plan stays yours.
Why we don't take insurance.
Insurance dictates protocols. It decides what's covered, what's denied, and what requires a prior authorization that can take weeks. That structure works for emergencies and acute care. It does not work for hormone optimization, peptide therapy, weight loss, or longevity — the work where the right answer is rarely what the formulary covers first.
Insurance dictates visit length. Chain clinics run 15-minute slots because that's what reimburses. We run unhurried visits because that's what produces a plan worth following. That time isn't a perk — it's the entire point.
The trade is honest. You pay us directly. There's no middleman quietly shaping the conversation, no copay confusion, no bill in the mail two months later. You know what things cost before you commit. That clarity is what we're selling — and it's what most people miss after the first visit.
What we do accept.
HSA cards
Most major Health Savings Account cards work at the front desk. Bring the card you already use for medical expenses.
FSA cards
Flexible Spending Account cards process the same way HSAs do. If your employer issued one, it almost certainly works here.
Credit + Debit
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Payment is taken at the time of service.
Cash
Accepted at the front desk. Receipts itemized for your records and for HSA / FSA reimbursement.
We do not bill insurance for clinical services. Your provider will discuss consultation pricing and needed labs with you before anything is ordered.
How we price visits.
Every fee is shared with you before you commit. No checkout surprises, ever.
First call or message.
Tell us what you’re looking for. We’ll tell you, honestly, whether we’re the right fit — and if we’re not, who is.
First in-clinic visit.
Pricing varies by what you’re coming in for — an HRT consult is priced differently than a DOT physical. We share the specific fee with you before you book the visit. No surprises at checkout.
Labs.
The men’s pellet membership is $300 down plus $175 per month for 12 months, billed automatically, with all labs and pelleting included.
Ongoing protocols.
HRT, peptide therapy, IV, weight loss, longevity. Every protocol fee — initial, adjustment, follow-up — is shared in writing before anything is ordered. You decide whether to move forward with the full picture in front of you.
Membership.
An optional membership for patients who want unlimited access and same-week scheduling. Membership pricing is set by age and shared with you at your consult, billed monthly, and includes an initial yearly lab panel. Every other fee is shared with you before you book.
DOT physicals.
Flat-rate, scheduled directly. Call the office for current pricing and the next available slot.
No surprises. Ever.
